HOSTED TRIPS BY JON COVICH

Ok, there are “hosted trips” and then there are “HOSTED TRIPS.” Here is the deal. Most of these trips you see advertised are with great people, with great fishing knowledge. That said, they may be going to this particular destination for the first time, just like you. And, their general motivation is to go along and fish.

My Hosted Trips are different. I try and only host to destinations that I know inside and out. Like Cuba and Colombia. I have made 29 trips to Cuba, and spent over 40 weeks there. I now speak the language well enough to solve problems, know great contacts who can help along the way, and know each of the destinations inside and out. The same goes for the trips I lead to Colombia, both to the jungle and the Pacific coast. I am in Medellin now, having hosted more than 10 weeks in this great country.
